Welcome to Lincoln Middle School

Welcome to Lincoln Middle SchoolLincoln Middle School is the newest school within Peoria Public School District 150, opening in the fall of 1994, replacing the former Longfellow School. Lincoln is situated in the near north inner city area of Peoria with approximately 520 students attending grades six through eight. Lincoln offers an integrated curriculum and enrichment for all students. In addition to classes in content areas, all students participate in Spanish, art, computers, music, and physical education. Extracurricular activities offered at Lincoln include band, and orchestra, athletics, yearbook, Builders Club, Art Club, and Robotics. A health clinic, sponsored by Methodist Hospital, is housed at Lincoln and available to students.Families are encouraged and invited to take an active roll in their child's education as a partner with the Lincoln staff. The Action Team for Partnership School sponsors both a Reading Family Night and a Math Family Night for Lincoln friends and families.

Transportation Reinbursement Program
Reminder: JUNE 30 is the deadline for qualifying parents or guardians to sign-up for the Parent/Guardian State Pupil Transportation Reimbursement Program. IF YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED YOUR CLAIM INFORMATION TO SCHOOL PERSONNEL FOR THE 2007-08 SCHOOL YEAR PLEASE DO SO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Parents must provide 2007-08 Parent/Guardian State Pupil Transportation Claim information to school personnel on or before June 30, 2008.Late transmissions will not be accepted.
If you have questions concerning the Parent/Guardian State Pupil Transportation Reimbursement claiming process, please contact Division of Funding and Disbursement Services personnel at 217/782-5256.
